Its almost that time again! Time for our annual JCI dance! Our club has sponsored this event for several years, and it has become one of our club's favorite events. The fun consists of music from a DJ, dancing and light refreshments that have become participant favorites over the years. JCI is an entrepreneurial, nonprofit corporation dedicated to empowering people with disabilities or disadvantages to succeed through training and employment.
There are seniors in our community that don't have anyone to spend the holidays with. Our club saw this need and wanted to do something to help spread joy by providing stockings filled with a few fun items.
Our Rotoary Club and other civic minded groups gather together to package meals for those less fortunate. This even usually consists of 15-20 groups set up with 4-5 stations each, allowing every to move around and get in on the action. There is a DJ, exciting celebrations when hitting 5,000-10,000 milestones, and our goal increases every year for total meals packed!
As we get ready for this year's Dominican Republic home building trip, we are reminded that with a new home, you need basic necessities. We will be collecting items to take for the new homes such as bed sheets, towels, curtains and other items that will help make these new houses a home.
Our club will be volunteering with the Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC.

The "Dominican Club Visit and Flag Exchange" event celebrates cultural diversity and international camaraderie. Civic Organization Day! is a remarkable event celebrating community engagement, collaboration, and the impactful work of local organizations. It brings together individuals dedicated to fostering collective growth and societal improvement. Participants can join workshops, network with fellow advocates, and learn about initiatives that shape thriving communities.

This event aims to honor the courage, dedication, and hard work of our men and women in uniform. Come and enjoy delicious food, connect with the community, and take part in expressing gratitude to those who serve to keep us safe.
Come join the Cleveland School Rotary Club In conjunction with NCDOT Litter Sweep, join Smithfield Parks & Recreation, and the Poole Family YMCA for Earth Day Litter Pick-Up! We will meet at C3 Church parking lot for orientation. This will include a brief safety meeting and where we will be broken into groups. You'll receive safety vest, gloves and trash bags. We will wrap up at 11:30.

Our Club will be providing Stephenson BBQ meals for our local first responders at McGee's fire stations Saturday October 26th. This is our way of lettings them know that their handwork and dedication is appreciated by the community.

Join our club and Central Johnston Rotary Club for an hike with the Friends of Johnston County. We will be enjoying the cooler weather and hiking the beautiful Smithfield Neuse Riverwalk.
