A call for help went out on a local community page: the children’s wildflower garden at the school had been left untended over the summer, and it was now overrun with weeds. One of our club members saw the need and quickly jumped into action. With a few calls and posts, we rallied a team of volunteers ready to get their hands dirty. Armed with tools, determination, and plenty of sweat, we transformed the overgrown garden back into a safe and beautiful space for the kids and staff. The joy on the teacher’s and children’s faces as they watched us bring the garden back to life made every ounce of effort worth it. Their gratitude reminded us why we serve. We’re proud to announce that our club has adopted this garden as a recurring summer service project—because every child deserves a space where they can learn, grow, and bloom.
